服务全球学习者!Slope Engineering课程上线ISRM网站!

 

5月20日,由昆明理工大学吴顺川教授主讲的全英文在线开放课程Slope Engineering(边坡工程)上线国际岩石力学与岩石工程学会(ISRM)网站,成为该学会第14门上线课程(中国大陆学者讲授的课程共3门),也是2023年上线的首门课程。

Slope Engineering共10章、37节,内容编排简明扼要,体现了科学性、系统性、适用性和国际化的特点。课程聚焦边坡工程稳定性问题,全面融入典型工程案例,综合采用文字、图片、动画、视频等多种展示形式,形象生动、深入浅出地讲解了边坡为什么会失稳、影响边坡稳定性的因素有哪些、如何分析边坡稳定性、通过哪些措施提高边坡稳定程度、如何进行工程边坡防护和加固、如何监测边坡工程稳定性等问题。

目前,Slope Engineering已面向全球学习者免费开放(现已上线前3章,其余将陆续上线),对提高我校在线开放课程国际化建设水平发挥了积极作用。

2023年3月13日,吴顺川教授组织国内8所高校12位教师历时三年联合打造,采用中文讲解、中英文PPT展示方式的全国首门《边坡工程》慕课上线智慧树平台,目前已有1000余人选课学习。课程团队在中文慕课建设基础上,精心优化PPT和讲稿,录制了全英文讲课视频,并及时上线国际学会网站。

国际岩石力学与岩石工程学会(International Society for Rock Mechanics and Rock Engineering,简称ISRM)成立于1962年,是岩石力学与岩石工程学术领域最高级别且极具权威性的非营利性国际科技组织,ISRM旨在积极推动和促进国际岩石力学与岩石工程领域的合作发展与学术交流,促进岩石力学的教育、研究和理论、技术的进步,提升岩石工程领域科技工作者的专业实践标准,使得岩土/岩石工程、采矿工程、石油工程、水利工程、交通工程、隧道工程等工程项目的建设更安全、经济和环保。
