The subject scope of the SI is defined to include:
1. Evolution process of deep underground disasters such as heat, rockburst(coalburst), mining tremor, mining gas, water inrush and spontaneous combustion;
2. The influence of high ground pressure, high temperature, high water pressure and high gas conditions on the evolution of deep underground disasters and disaster chain mechanism;
3. Disaster monitoring and early warning of deep underground- surface interaction;
4. Coupling effect of multi-disaster evolution under deep underground conditions;
5. Evolution mechanism of large deformation disaster of soft rock under high stress;
6. Theory and technology of deep rock engineering support;
7. Other theories and practices related to the evolution process of deep underground disasters.
